The feigning of illness by employees is a classic problem – not only for the companies concerned, but also for our IHK-certified detectives from Trier, whose principal field of activity includes the surveillance of suspicious staff members.
Kurtz Detective Agency Trier and Luxembourg therefore offers you not only highly trained commercial investigators, but also extensive experience and court-admissible evidence, which we provide in the form of a professional written investigation report. We would be pleased to hear about your case without obligation: +49 651 2094 0060.
Feigning illness constitutes fraud – a fact pursuant to Section 263 of the German Criminal Code. Unfortunately, in the minds of countless employees a very different perception appears to prevail, namely that “pulling a sickie” is a trivial offence used more or less frequently to obtain a few additional days – or even weeks and months – off work each year. In reality, however, this criminal offence is punishable not only by a fine or even imprisonment; above all, it harms numerous other natural and legal persons: the employer, who continues to pay but receives no service in return; colleagues, who must suddenly compensate for the absence; and ultimately society as a whole, since employees and employers contribute to the social security system and thereby co-finance the misconduct of a few “black sheep”.
In this respect, exposing sick leave fraudsters through our detectives from Trier not only improves the operational performance and working atmosphere within the company concerned, but also – to a lesser extent – benefits the wider community. Although the media sometimes portray detectives negatively as “snoopers”, commercial investigation agencies such as Kurtz Investigations Trier and Luxembourg merely fill a civil and criminal enforcement gap that is not addressed by official investigative authorities. We look forward to assisting you in clarifying suspicions regarding your employees: kontakt@kurtz-detektei-luxemburg.com.
